Habitat Love Letters: Love, Homes, and Gratitude

As we approach the month of love and gratitude, we at Habitat would like to reflect on the incredible support we’ve received from our community. This February, we want to take a moment to extend our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful supporters of Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North and the two ReStores which help us fund our current and future builds.

You have consistently shown unwavering love and dedication to our cause. Whether it's lending a helping hand at the ReStore, bringing your passion to the build site, or generously contributing to our fundraising endeavours, you’ve proven that when we ask for your support, you step up and lift us to new heights. Your contributions, big and small, have played a crucial role in building homes and hope for our families.

We feel incredibly blessed to have such an amazing community rallying behind our mission, and we want to celebrate you.

That's precisely why some of our current homeowner families have chosen to express the impact of your support on their lives. Take a moment to read these heartfelt 'Love Letters' from our families to you!

This February, Habitat is featured as business of the month at four local CCCU branches.

Thank you to four Coastal Community Credit Union branches in Courtenay and Campbell River for featuring Habitat in their business of the month displays. If you visit, stop by and check out the display, and enter our give-away for the chance to win a 'Chocolate Lover's Basket.'

You can also visit the Comox Valley and Campbell River ReStores, where you can check out the same display and join us as a 'Heart Hero!’ Simply make any donation amount at the ReStore and put your name on our wall of hearts throughout the month of February!

Also, a big thank you to 5th Street Florist in Courtenay, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Comox Valley, Campbell River Florist, and Gourmet Essentials in Campbell River for helping spread our message of love and gratitude to the community this month! They have agreed to share our love letter stories with their customers with every purchase made. Make sure to give them some love back!

Thank you for being the heartbeat of Habitat for Humanity. Your love fuels our endeavors, and together, we will continue building a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to call home.
