Events and Committees

We have various events throughout the year that require volunteer support, and we are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our committees.

Whether you're interested in helping out at our events, participating in parades, or getting involved in our fundraising or family selection committees, we have a role for you.

Our events are a lot of fun, and they provide a great opportunity to engage with the community and raise awareness about our cause. Some of our events include the Bid to Build Online Auction, Matching Donation Challenge, and Shed Auctions and Raffles. We also participate in parades throughout the year and need help with planning and decorating.

If you're interested in getting involved in a more long-term capacity, consider joining one of our committees. Our fundraising committee is responsible for planning and executing our fundraising events and campaigns, while our family selection committee reviews applications and selects families for our homeownership program.

No matter how you choose to get involved, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North is a rewarding experience that can make a lasting impact on the lives of families in need.
