Affordable Homeownership Program
Habitat’s path to homeownership is an in-depth process, requiring hard work, time, and dedication. This helps to ensure the long-term success of Habitat homeowners.
Sole, joint, shared, or split custody of at least of one child under the age of 18
- The need for better or more affordable housing
Things to consider: current cost of housing, housing issues that can affect the health of the family and number, gender and age of people currently sharing a room
A willingness to partner with Habitat, including completing 500 hours of volunteer work and financial literacy training
- The ability to pay an affordable mortgage, including:
An income range between $55,000 to $87,800, depending on family size
Regular income that is not Employment Insurance, Income Assistance, or any other “stop-gap” measures
Employed at your current job for a minimum of six months
A credit rating of 660 or higher

We are not currently in a selection process for Campbell River.
