Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity, and we wouldn’t be able to build homes or transform lives without their help.

Dive into the journey of families becoming homeowners. Learn about the joy and transformation as they move into their new Habitat homes.

Habitat’s path to homeownership is an in-depth process, requiring hard work, time, and dedication. This helps to ensure the long-term success of Habitat homeowners.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home and building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used furniture, housewares, and building materials. Shopping at a Habitat ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as funds generated are used to fund local Habitat for Humanity home-building projects. It’s also an environmentally conscious decision, as much of what is sold is product that is new, gently used or customer returns that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

For 20 years, Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North has been building more than just homes—we’ve been building hope and transforming lives. Since 2004, we’ve completed 55 homes, each representing a unique story of dreams realized and a brighter future for families in our community. Join us in celebrating these milestones and the lasting impact we’ve made together.

Explore diversity in Habitat and see how Habitat for Humanity celebrates unity and inclusivity. Meet inspiring volunteers and homeowners from all walks of life coming together to build stronger, more vibrant communities.
