Team Build Day with MNP at Campbell River ReStore
We had the pleasure of hosting a Team-Build day at the Campbell River ReStore with the team from MNP in Campbell River. Not only did they help us with projects around the store, but they also donated a generous $2,500 to support affordable housing in our community.
Stefan, a Habitat Homeowner and Kayla, the General ReStore Manager, led the team tasks for the day. They worked on building a planter box and gave the doors and trims inside the store a much-needed TLC with a fresh coat of paint.
During the lunch break, we took the opportunity to share more about Habitat for Humanity's mission and our impact in the community. This was a perfect moment for Stefan to share his personal journey as a Habitat Homeowner. His story resonated with the group, highlighting the transformative power of affordable housing and community support.
We are grateful to Fork and Arrow for generously providing delicious sandwiches for our volunteers. Their support added a special touch to our day!
It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying physical activity, taking a break from their desk jobs, and making a difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who participated in this Team Build Day. We look forward to welcoming more volunteers in the future!
