InPower BC – AtkinsRéalis Supports Habitat with a $2,000 Donation
At Habitat for Humanity, we are grateful to have strong community support from organizations that care about making a difference. InPower BC – AtkinsRéalis stepped up this year with a generous $2,000 donation towards affordable housing in Campbell River.
When we met with Will Kingston, Director of Facilities Services at AtkinsRealis, he said that Habitat’s mission of building affordable housing aligns with the type of organization they want to see thrive in the community.
InPower BC, a joint venture responsible for the successful completion of the John Hart Generating Station in Campbell River, and has been a vital partner in the community. While the construction work on the John Hart Generating Station is complete, InPower BC’s dedication to the region continues. They maintain an ongoing partnership with BC Hydro, ensuring the continued success of the station’s maintenance and operation.
“As we continue our operations in Campbell River, we want to make sure we give back to our community and support the causes that make a real difference in people's lives,” said Will.
Their thoughtful contribution will have an impact on the work we do at Habitat for Humanity. 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for us as we work toward breaking ground on a significant project in Campbell River. To make this vision a reality, we must raise the necessary funds to ensure the success of the project and the families it will serve.
Thank you again for your generosity. InPower BC – AtkinsRéalis’s commitment to supporting local communities extends beyond their work in construction and energy, and we are so thankful for their willingness to contribute to Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building more affordable housing in our community!
