Comox Valley Chamber Awards Not-for-Profit Award Winner
The 2020 Comox Valley Chamber Awards took place virtually on Saturday, January 30th, and we were honoured to be chosen as the recipient of the Not-for-Profit Award.
Equal recognition should go to our two fellow finalists, Cumberland Community Forest Society and Lush Valley Food Society, who have served our community through forest conservation and food security, respectively. It's an honour in itself to be in such great company.
Thank you to the Comox Valley Community Foundation for sponsoring this award, and to the Comox Valley Chamber for putting together such a wonderful event and continuing to recognize businesses, individuals, and non-profits in the Comox Valley, despite this year's limitations.
To all of our volunteers, donors, homeowners, and supporters, you are the reason for this recognition! Thank you for carrying us through one of the most difficult years our organization has experienced, and enabling us to continue to build homes and serve families despite the challenges thrown our way.
