Best Non-Profit Entry in Comox Valley Christmas Parade
We couldn’t do this without our volunteers! Thank you to Courtenay volunteers Tudor, Darryl, Ken, Bob, and BW who built the shed from scratch, and Campbell River volunteers Laurie, Rachel, Gavin, and Ashli for putting on the finishing touches and decorating! As well as Garrett who helped take down the decorations once the parade was over. What a job well done. We want to extend a special thanks to homeowners Angela and David, Courtenay, Jane, and their children, as well as volunteers Jon Toogood, Britt Bergin, Linda Cristie, Linda Greenwood, and Miranda Brooking who walked with us in the parade.
Thank you to Habitat staff members Alla McQueen, Alison Liebel, and Stefan Odowichuk for coordinating the parade floats, and Yana Dimitrova and Alli Epp for reporting on the event. Thank you to Gail Burr and Logan Ronhovde for your continued support. We also want to thank Shawn Gurr, Kayla Tinga, and her husband Ryan for driving the Habitat truck and guiding the float in the Comox Valley parade.
